Nawl (نول) is a living memorialization of life, love, and struggle in Lebanon. It serves as a device that holds our stories under tension, leaving space to weave fabric in between that builds the bigger picture.
Under tension is the personal; poetry and essays that collect moments from everyday life. Interwoven, the threads that link our personal with everyone else’s; pieces that dive deeper into the science, politics, and history that have left us with this mess.
Nawl is a journey in collective self-discovery. It is work that asks how we got here and how we can go where that’s better.
